HEAVY SILVER TOUAREG PENDANT

Signed, heavy and composed of good quality silver this is a beautiful pendant.

The entire surface, including a raised shield in the centre of the pendant, is decorated with finely incised lines. Incorporated into the traditional geometric designs is a rather unusual, five petalled lily.

Incised silver is combined here with an attractive dark grained wood which is probably not ebony, but is usually marketed as such.

The combination of materials, and the inviting smoothness of the pendant is very appealing. A necklace of graduated black glass beads, with silver inserts, anchors the pendant.

HINGED TABLET PENDANT

Also vintage, but not signed, this pendant incorporates some of the same features as the circular pendant above.

Here, the hinged cap leads down to a silver capped tablet of black agate, which is accentuated with a dome of silver.

A braided sting of black leather suspends the pendant.
