The combination of the streamlined shape and non traditonal finish give a very modern look to this lantern, but it really was made in Marrakech!

This is the "little brother" to the Lacy Imperial Alkazar pictured on page 1 of this section.

This lantern has all the charm of the traditional Marabout shape but but with a very untraditional lacy "trous" effect - a very appealing contrast!

TRADITIONAL INN LANTERN

Simple but highly effective, a pillar candle will create fabulous patterns on any nearby surface with this lovely, traditional iron lantern.

The design is an updated version of the style which used to hang over the archway to the old inns of the medina.

ROUND BIRDCAGE

Romantic Andalucian ironwork shaped into an old fashioned "birdcage style. Despite the lantern's delicate appearance, the iron rod used in its construction is substantial - so there is little danger of it being accidentally upset.

Also available in the traditional domed shape set on a square base. Click on the picture to see the Square Birdcage style.

Probably best used outdoors on a still evening, or indoors as the openwork design provides limited protection from the wind.
