SAHARA LANTERN

A large, traditional desert lantern which has a somewhat medieval look about it. Stable and substantial, it is artfully designed to keep the candle burning despite the wind.

The pattern in the dome and the eight side panels has been hand carved, and the iron of the lantern can be left to weather pleasingly to a soft reddish-brown patina.

Shown here in our garden where it's wired with a light sensor so that the lantern lights up at sunset all year round.
