ENAMELLED BERBER EARRINGS

Modern earrings from Tiznit, but very distinctly Berber with their yellow, blue and green enamel decoration on silver.

I have a selection of similar earrings, but the ones on the left each have three little enamelled pendants suspended from a disc inscribed with the Berber "circle of eternity".

This symbol is repeated on the upper silver triangles.

OLD BERBER TRIANGLES

Old coin silver with yellow and green enamelling and double glass cabochons in red and cobalt. The three small coins which adorn the base of each earring twinkle as they catch the light.

These earrings are not terribly old, perhaps only 30 or 40 years of age, but they have a very satisfyingly vintage appearance.

OLD BERBER DISCS WITH PENDANTS

A lovely, extravagant pair of earrings which are probably around 30 years old.

Each silver disc is ornamented with a rich red cabochon surrounded by enamel details in green, yellow and rose pink. Three "diamonds" of silver/nielle work add a final flourish.
