We have lots of silver teapots, variously decorated, usually with a floral or leafy theme, sometimes geometric. Often the handle or the four feet will be in contrasting brass. Just a few from our selection are shown below.
All of the teapots are made to be used and have probably poured vast quantities of mint tea over the many decades of their lives as the pride of a Moroccan household

THE FALCON TEAPOT
A bigger, more solid teapot with a heavier spout, charmingly decorated with arabesques and swirls of flowers, this teapot is grounded with four robust little feet and topped by a winged brass falcon. The base has been hand hammered to a smoothly rounded shape.

HANDPAINTED TEAGLASSES
Seven different colours (Ruby, Orange, Turquoise, Emerald, Chestnut) plus Lemon Yellow and Purple shown above. Each is hand decorated with gold and/or copper, henna-like squiggles.

"EVERYDAY BEST"
A slightly lighter teapot with a rimmed, machine finished base. But there's no shortage of decoration: quilted panelling, ornamental swags plus some flowers and leaves as a final flourish.
Instead of a falcon, the the tall dome of the teapot is finished with a metal bead and disc.

TOUAREG TEAPOT
"Tea in the Sahara"? Yes, I know it looks more like a coffee pot, but I've been told on good authority that this is a Touareg style teapot.
The shape is rather svelte and a swooping floral wreath has been worked into the surface. Such an elegant little teapot!

WHORLED TEAPOT
Here is a very substantial teapot with a most extravagant and, for Morocco, unorthodox design of grapes and leaves.
The spout is also unusual as it is whorled, or worked in a spiralling ridge. Finally, the little falcon on the lid is crouched forward as if poised for flight. In every respect, a rare find in the world of Moroccan teapots.

FEATHERED TEAPOT
Another falcon topped teapot, of substantial weight and with a hand finished base.
A quilted and feathered pattern covers the entire body of this teapot and the handle, spout and feet are all lavishly worked.
