| TEAPOTS and TEAGLASSES |
We have lots of silver teapots, variously decorated, usually with a floral or leafy theme, sometimes geometric. Often the handle or the four feet will be in contrasting brass. Just a few from our selection are shown below.
All of the teapots are made to be used and have probably poured vast quantities of mint tea over the many decades of their lives as the pride of a Moroccan household

CROUCHING FALCON TEAPOT
A bigger, more solid teapot, charmingly decorated with arabesques and swirls of flowers. The tip of the spout is in the shape of snake or dragon's head
This teapot is grounded with four robust little feet and topped by a silver falcon which is poised for flight
The teapot base has been hand hammered to gove a smoothly rounded shape.

HAND HAMMERED TEAPOT
Instead of a falcon, the the tall dome of this teapot is finished with a traditional metal bead and disc.
Quilted panelling, ornamental swags and some flowers and foliage decorate the body. The spout pours smoothly, without dripping.
The base has been hand hammered, click on the photo for a close up of the workmanship and the maker's mark.

MACHINED BASE TEAPOT
A slightly lighter teapot, elegantly decorated with scrolls, floral cascades and, strangely enough, a scatter of shamrocks (?).
